The dirty dozen – top 12 most contaminated fruits & veggies: Celery, peaches, strawberries, apples, blueberries (domestic), nectarines, sweet bell peppers, spinach, cherries, kale, potatoes, imported grapes (in order.)  The number one reason to choose organic is to avoid pesticides. These foods were identified by the Environmental Working Group. The list changes annually so be sure to check their website for updates.
