I love living in Mrs. Green’s world.  Just call me corny (now there’s an old-fashioned word) but I really do love living in Mrs. Green’s world.  Last night I had the joy of attending the Authors Dinner at the Tucson Festival of Books – thanks to Bookmans.  We were blessed to mingle with some of the most brilliant authors on the planet, we got to sit with the amazing Chris O’Dell (an amazing author herself)  Miss O’Dell: My Hard Days and Long Night and then got to hear Scott Simon, from NPR, tell a riveting, heartfelt story about his family, his life,  his visit to Sarajevo and his book Pretty Birds. Oh what a night!

Today I get to spend an entire day with our wonderful Green Team, film with the soon-to-be legendary videographer, Scott Caddow, The Eco-Travel dude (among other Dude like titles) and Cindy Windy – who gets to tell me what to do!

And did I mention do a live radio show?  I will get to thank Janice & Rick Ulrich from Elastek for making the show possible today, I will get to interview Vanessa Farquharson, author of “Sleeping Naked is Green: How an Eco-cynic Unplugged her Fridge, Sold her Car, and Found Love in 366 Days.”. And Novella Carpenter, Farm City: The Education of an Urban Farmer. AND, Mireya Carpenter, Green Wedding Planning – if her flight gets her here in time.   Rumor has it that there might even be a guest appearance by Bob Oldfather from Bookmans.  Lots of great, green, sustainable and did I say FUN stuff.
