Pima Association of Governments’ (PAG) Claire Zucker will fill in the details of PAG’s new Sustainable Environment Program — integrating three different programs, developing more holistic outreach and reaching more people. Buffelgrass, habitat and climate change adaptation strategy development programs did not really have a clear home before the reorganization. The program combines watershed and air quality planning with travel demand management to create an integrated and cohesive group poised to work with sustainability efforts throughout the region. The goal for the program is to become a resource for member jurisdictions in support of the long-term environmental, economic and social vitality of our community. Claire will also share information about Earth Day.
