heroes for planet earth

Dr. Jane GoodallDrum Roll Please! Our guest for the first part of our show is Dr. Jane Goodall! Dr. Goodall is the founder, mentor and inspiration behind the Jane Goodall Institute. In July 1960, at the age of 26, Jane Goodall traveled from England to what is today Tanzania and bravely entered the little-known world of wild chimpanzees. The world started watching her and we have never stopped. Today, Jane’s work revolves around inspiring action on behalf of endangered species, particularly chimpanzees, and encouraging people to do their part to make the world a better place for people, animals, and the environment we all share. Jane will be the Exemplar Awardee at the Captain Planet Foundation’s Annual Gala in Atlanta on December 5th. Leesa Carter-Jones will inform and delight us as the second guest on our commercial free show. Leesa passionately believes the work of the Captain Planet Foundation is a vital part of the solution for our planet. She also believes we can’t afford to raise another generation without honoring and supporting the fact that every child holds a key to solving the environmental problems plaguing our communities. It is our job to give student change-makers the tools, funding, and best practices to solve and implement their answers. Her passion is contagious! Listen and be inspired with me.
