Shelter takes many forms. Definitions of shelter vary drastically as one travels the globe. But what doesn’t change is the basic human need for a safe and decent place to live. That’s why Habitat for Humanity is helping to build, repair and revitalize houses all over the world with the support of volunteers and donors, because everyone everywhere needs a place to call home. A stable home puts families on a new path – one where strength and self-reliance are obtainable, not just aspirational. Please join us to hear Susan Yow share with us how people in Tucson and all over the United States are helping to build a better world, one home at a time. And I am always thrilled to be sharing the good, green word about an organization that represents everything that is right about the world. This show made possible due to the generous support of Habitat for Humanity Tucson.
