The WHITE ELEPHANT SHOP was established in 1964 by a handful of volunteers looking for a way to support their community. From those early beginnings, the store has grown to nearly 600 dedicated volunteers, working 6 days a week, processing, cleaning and pricing gently used goods for re-sale to the public.

Revenue generated by store sales is contributed each year to more than 120 local schools and charitable service organizations throughout Green Valley, Sahuarita and the Santa Cruz Valley, and the demand continues to grow.
The WHITE ELEPHANT SHOP also sponsors the annual Country Fair held each year in late October. The Fair features a parade of more than 100 entries, including bands, floats, horses, marching units and more. The Green Valley Village Mall and Continental Plaza participate with Fair exhibits and booths numbering over 200.

Donations of all kinds are accepted, so the shop has a large variety of goods for sale. Items include clothing, furniture, appliances, art, jewelry, collectibles, house-wares, linens, books and records, building supplies, TV’s, stereos, computers, and much, much more!
In 2011, the WHITE ELEPHANT SHOP distributed over $1.5 Million to over 120 schools and charitable organizations.

The recently expanded 34,400 sq. ft. store is located in Green Valley and the heart of the Santa Cruz Valley. Our volunteers take great pride in keeping the store neat, clean, and well-organized so that customers enjoy their shopping experience! Unsold items are given to the Salvation Army, St. Vincent de Paul, and other needy charities.
