School District Finances have been cut to the bone due to lagging state funding. By reducing our energy costs, it helps us to keep more money in the classroom and demonstrates to our community that we are being fiscally responsible with their tax dollars. Our way of borrowing from the future has been through energy upgrades while giving us savings for today and tomorrow.

Our school district is inclusive of cultivating, hard working, caring, creative and courageous people who make up a closely knit community and family. Where all integrate an environment in which to inspire learning so that our students’ greatest abilities will be developed and make possible the discovery and pursuit of their dreams. There is no better of an endorsement to our work climate than to have one of our very own students grow up to return to become our leader and Superintendent. Our school district promotes wellness and healthy living with our very own coaches. We are also very proud of our partnerships with our community such as: Amateur Astronomy Club, City Council Ward 5, El Rio Health Center, Watershed Management Group, Tucson Water, Midstate-Energy, Tucson Clean and Beautiful, Mayor’s Office, Cenpatico Services, AVID, Pima Federal Credit Union, Raytheon, Sunnyside Neighborhood Association, Tucson Police Department, UA Co-op. Extension, Valencia Library and many more.
