The Last Unicorn

Broadcast on 2015/06/13 (PT)

This show is about the author’s quest to find and understand a creature as rare and enigmatic as any on Earth. I am reading the book at press time and will have finished it before this interview. It is blowing my mind. In 1992, in a remote mountain range, a team of scientists discovered the remains of an unusual animal with exquisite long horns. It turned out to be a living species NEW to Western Science, the first large land mammal discovered in fifty years. Join me to hear about a live “saola” and William’s quest and punishing trek to search for it. Almost sounds like fiction but it clearly is not. This show is made possible through the generous support of The Chapman Automotive Group.
