The International Women’s Earth & Climate Summit will take place on September 20 – 23, 2013 in New York. The Summit will bring together 100 global women leaders including grassroots activists, economists, scientists, businesswomen, Indigenous leaders, policy-makers, faith leaders, culture shapers for 3.5 days to help further a women’s climate action agenda. Although this is an invitation only summit at the New York site for 100 women, we welcome and need women of the world to engage with us!  Please join the dialogue now and input into the summit!

The participation of women around the world – including you and your friends and colleagues – via live streaming and online interaction is key to the success of the summit.

Mission

The International Women’s Earth & Climate Initiative (IWECI) was created to accelerate a holistic Global Women’s Earth & Climate Action Movement.

IWECI invites you to participate in its following 2013 initiatives:

  1. The International 100 Women’s Earth & Climate Summit, September 18 – 21, 2013 in New York, USA. The International Summit will bring together 100 global women leaders including grassroots activists, economists, scientists, businesswomen, Indigenous leaders, policy-makers, faith leaders, culture shapers for 3.5 days to help further a women’s climate action campaign agenda. The participation of women around the world – including you and your friends and colleagues – via live streaming and online interaction is key to the success of the summit.
  2. IWECI Action Campaigns & Solution Trainings inspired by and implemented according to Action Plans that will be produced by the working groups at the IWECI Summit (trainings and campaigns are already underway) You and your organization are central to growing ongoing collaborative campaigns and trainings.
  3. IWECI Online Forums, Campaigns and Project Collaborations to advance long-term cross-cultural, cross-sector, cross-generational and cross-socioeconomic networking and mobilization. Join in and find new partners to advance your work and to leverage our advocacy efforts together.
