Vermicomposting Basics (Phoenix)

This is an introductory class for vermi-composting. Learn how to make your own composter and keep the worms happy and healthy for your home and garden needs.

Topics will include:

  • Step by step instructions to building a worm farm/composter.
  • Learning how to build a worm farm/composter with ready available materials and simple hand tools.
  • How to layer the compost, what foods to feed the worms, and how to maintain them in various weather conditions.
