Fruit Trees for Tucson with the Tucson Botanical Gardens

Join Nate O’Meara, M.A., as he gets you started with planning a home orchard of citrus, figs, pecans, pomegranates, apples, apricots, peaches and more! This class will cover such topics as fruit tree varieties for Tucson, site selection, proper planting, pruning, fertilizing, irrigation and fruit protection. Nate is a lifelong Arizona gardener and has worked as a Tucson nurseryman, Permaculture farmer, ethnobotanist and agricultural anthropologist.
