The mission of Waterkeeper Alliance is to connect and support local Waterkeeper programs to provide a voice for waterways and their communities worldwide. To champion clean water AND strong communities, they support and empower member organizations to protect communities, ecosystems and water quality. They also work to promote the very important Waterkeeper model for watershed protection worldwide and they advocate for issues common to their programs. Translation?
