I wanted to write about this way ahead of time so you can “save the date.” In my opinion, we should all be watching the Amazon. My visit there over seven years ago anchored my decision to launch Mrs. Green’s world. I learned that each of the 7 billion people on the planet count on the Amazon rain forest to regulate our planet’s climate generating a full fifth of the world’s oxygen and fresh water.
