“Glad to hear you're enjoying your new Honda Insight. I bought the first one off the lot in 2000. It was the little two seater and I drove it for 75,000 miles averaging 59.2 mpg. I had one run from Tucson to LA and back and averaged 70 mpg. It was a great little car but only a two seater and so I couldn't take grandkids requiring car seats in it, so I traded it in for a Civic Hybrid, which averages about 42 mpg for it's first 97,000 miles. I'm waiting for the plug-in hybrids or perhaps all electric, although the new Insight sounds tempting”-- Bill, Tucson
