People describe Melanie’s book, Life in the Hothouse: How a Living Planet Survives Climate Change, as a book for the general reader that demystifies the science behind climate change. Her book makes the comparison between humans producing sweat to cool off on a hot summer day to the planet producing hurricanes, floods, wetlands and forests to cool its self off. Makes sense to me.
